La deuxième sortie du label français Sharivari Records provient du musicien parisien Art Bleek qui a déjà travaillé pour Rush Hour, Room with a view, Loungin’Recordings, Resopal et Connaisseur. Sur la face A, « The Real Thing » is un chef d’oeuvre au goût funk, commençant par de formidables accords deep évoluant vers un morceau funk et sexy house, tandis que « Midnight Marauders » is pure accélérateur funk avec un gros « clap », une « bassline » funky et un vocal sauvage. La face B propose un remix de « The Real Thing » signé par le producteur Suisse Agnès qui conserve la touche original du morceau mais avec un gros travail façon house. Enfin, « Little Hollyword », ferme cet EP avec un groove minimal et hypnotique qui rappelle le meilleur du Jazz. « This is the real thing » ou « c’est une chose réelle » ! Limité à 300 exemplaires de vinyles colorés.
