Argenis Brito et Los Updates : deux des artistes les plus distingués de l’armada électronique chilienne réunis sur un vinyl d’exception. Argenis, né au Venezuela a obtenu il a bien longtemps son passeport de clubbing Chilien par des artistes comme Luciano, Pier Bucci et Villalobos grâce à l’excellence de ses productions, de son chant et de ses soirées. Il a rencontré le boss de Los Updates, Jorge Gonzalez à New York en 1994 lors d’une représentation du Wu Tang Clan et tous ensemble avec Dandy Jack, Tobias et Atom Heart, ils ont réalisé le « Gonzalo Martinez and His Thinking Congas » un mix précurseur de cumbia et de musique électronique. Sur cette toute nouvelle sortie ils nous taquinent avec « Valparaiso » et « Don‘t Take Candy From Strangers » mais notre préféré restera « Candy » véritable bombe taillée pour le dancefloor. Vous pouvez sentir cette délicieuse odeur d’un classique qui émane de la cire.

Argenis, born in Venezuela, was given a chilean club passport by Luciano, Pier Bucci and Villalobos a long time ago due to his outstanding services as a producer, singer and overall party raiser. He met Los Updates‘s boss Jorge Gonzalez in New York in 1994, while attending a Wu Tang Clan show and together with Dandy Jack, Tobias and Atom Heart did in 1997 « Gonzalo Martinez and His Thinking Congas » a visionary mix of cumbia and electronics. On this brand new release they tease us with « Valparaiso » and « Don‘t Take Candy From Strangers » but our favorite remains « Candy » real bomb cut for dancefloors.
