Il fallait une suite à l’exceptionnel Heroic Death, maxi sorti sur Fauxpas Musik en janvier 2010. Desolate n’a pas tardé et revient avec son premier album intitulé The Invisible Insurrection sur le jeune label allemand. Sven Weisemann aka Desolate est un être mystérieux. Malgré le fait que l’on en sait pas beaucoup sur cet artiste berlinois, l’atmosphère et les émotions qui se dégagent de ses productions nous propulsent rapidement dans son monde fantastique et féérique, guidés par sa dub ambiante et mélodique vers les profondeurs de son personnage. Si l’album est un parfait assortiment de morceaux, nos préférences se portent tout de même sur Farewell #2 et Endurance.

Desolate throw back the diner with the next episode : his first album called The Invisible Insurrection signed under the same imprint. Sven Weisemann a.k.a. Desolate is a weird boy : we didn’t know so much about this german dude, because of this strikingly atmosphere inside his productions. We are somehow caught in a darkened and fantastic world, guided through his ambiant dub, sometimes melodic, a kind of highway to the features of his personnality. The album is a real nice patchwork of tracks, and we especially love Farewell #2 and Endurance.
