Various Artists – The Achromorphe [Aconito Records]

C’est dans une ambiance mécanique très sombre et mentale que Ink, Obtane, Claudio PRC et nAX_Acid (l’un des boss du label lancé en 2009) nous font voyager sur ce maxi sorti le 11 avril sur Aconito Records. L’ensemble a beau être très dark, on retrouve tout de même une certaine beauté, comme sur le majestueux The Achromorphe, morceau d’ouverture ambient orchestré par nAX_Acid. Après ce magnifique titre, l’artiste anglais se joint à Ink sur le puissant et apocalyptique A Jarvik A.X 7.1. Et comme ils n’allaient pas nous lâcher en si bon chemin, ce sont nos chers italiens Obtane et Claudio PRC qui clôturent l’EP et se chargent de nous achever avec le monstrueux Antikythera Mechanism. Un disque à ne pas louper !

Inside a mechanical atmosphere, between some dark and mental one, we catch Ink, Obtane, Claudio PRC and nAX_Acid (owner of the imprint, which was started in 2009) who dig the right tracks, available since the 11th april on Aconito Records. The main feature of the release is dark but we find some beauty as it is expected on ‘The Achromorphe’, nice ambient opening track made by nAX_Acid. After this stuff, the english producer rejoins Ink on the apocalyptic A Jarvik A.X 7.1. As we follow the listening, we great italians Obtane and Claudio PRC who closed the EP with the killer track called Antikythera Mechanism. Don’t miss it !
