DJ Yellow, qu’on ne présente plus du fait de ses innombrables sorties ces 15 dernières années sur des labels comme Ovum, Poussez, Saw ou encore son propre label Yellow Productions. Il rejoint cette fois ci le producteur portugais Hitech2 sur le projet Mindz Kontrol Ultra pour des productions tournées plus profondément vers une house classique, minimale et étirée. Mindz Theme nous montre un travail d’orfèvre sur un groove house franc et des violons épiques pour 7 minutes et demi de paradis hypnotique, rien de plus rien de moins.

A peine redescendu de ses productions stellaires sur Running Back et Drumpoet Community, voici Dplay à bord pour le remix de Mindz Theme, un remix qui voit la jeune star Deep House en provenance d’Essen nous monter un brasier à combustion lente avec sa touche si particulière, avant de passer le relai à Nar’dine pour maintenir l’ambiance dans une humeur profonde et hypnotisante avec un groove percutant garantissant un impact maximum sur des danseurs transcendés.

DJ Yellow should need little by way of introduction seeing as he’s been responsible for countless classic releases over the past 15 years on labels such as Ovum, Poussez and Saw as well as his own Yellow Productions. On his Mindz Kontrol Ultra project he joins forces with Portugese producer Hitech2 who helps push things in a deeper, minimal and stripped back classic house direction. Mindz Theme works a straight up house groove and string hit into seven and a half minutes of late night, hypnotic heaven. No more to it than that really. A masterclass in the art of less is more.

Fresh from his stellar releases on Running Back and Drumpoet here is Dplay onboard for the remix of Mindz Theme. Here we see the young deep house star from Essen go the extra fathom on a slow burning and understated yet powerful mix with the trademark sound we’ve come to know and love. Finally, Nar’dine keeps things super deep and hypnotic again but with a percussive groove that’ll ensure maximum impact on the dancefloor.
