Team Records présente son septième EP, très probablement le plus « musical » jamais sorti. Aux commandes, un producteur allemand connu pour sa musique électronique à la fois minimale et instrumentale. Take Care EP, a été mixé avec de véritables instruments et une attention soignée a été portée sur les percussions.

« Take Care » est un morceau très mélancolique dans sa version originale créant une atmosphère reposante. « Nightlight », quand a elle est une production beaucoup plus deep avec un groove minimalesque. Pour finir cet EP, « Mr Blue » est peut être notre morceau préféré, le mélange des mélodies pianos et des percussions en tout simplicité donne un véritable groove au morceau.

Le remix a été confié à Aki Latcamaki, dont vous avez pu retrouvé ses productions sur des labels comme Curle, Cocoon ou encore Trapez. Il a effectué un véritable travail de remixeur en donnant un punch énorme au morceau original, lui conférant un petit côté dancefloor tout en conservant la touche acoustic de la production originale.

Cet EP présente un véritable travail acoustique alliant mélancolie et rythme groovy, preuve qu’on peut faire de la très bonne musique dite électronique avec de véritable instruments. A écouter idéalement à l’apéritif !

Team Records would like to present the newest, and probably the most musically live sounding release of songs (not tracks) so far, made by the German wonderboy named Simon Hinter. He is known for its electronic music that is mixing acoustics and minimal. Take Care EP is a release covered in live played instruments and percussion.

« Take Care » is a very wistful track in its original mix creating a restful atmosphere. « Nightlight » is more a deep track with a minimal groove. To concluse this EP, « Mr Blue » is perhap’s our favorite because of these piano tunes and drums giving a simple groove to the track.

The remix responsibilities have been taken by Aki Latvamaki, who has a history of some fine releases under his belt on Curle, Cocoon and Trapez. He has produced a brilliant cinematic take on Take Care.

This EP is presenting a real acoustic work mixing melancholy with groovy rhythm proving that’s possible to produce some very good electronic music with real instruments. Ideal to listen at the « aperitif » !
