Jeune et pimpant, le label Aim de l’artiste allemand Tristen créé l’année dernière est déjà à la botte des plus grands (Laurent Garnier, Brothers Vibe, Eric Cloutier…). Les particularités du label sont simples : diversité et vinyl only. Chacun des morceaux est singulier, à l’inverse de la tendance actuelle de bon nombre de labels qui privilégient quantité à qualité. Après deux maxis acclamés d’Oskar Offermann et Moomin puis Christopher Rau, Tristen a choisi l’excellent Oliver Deutschmann, tenancier du label Vidab, pour ce troisième opus. Ce dernier nous livre donc deux morceaux, le massif Gimme Some Love au groove séducteur et destructeur pouvant faire exploser n’importe quel dancefloor et l’édulcoré Celebrate Misery (pouvant faire penser à la touche de notre cher breton Dginia) escortés d’un remix de XDB et d’un edit de Celebrate Misery ou tous les éléments rythmiques, mis à part la basse, ont été retirés. On a hâte de découvrir la suite de l’histoire !

The young and fresh label Aim from German artist Tristen was created last year, and is already gathering support from more and more artists ( Laurent Garnier, Brothers Vibe, Eric Cloutier…). The label specificities are simple: diversity and vinyl only. Every track is unique, the opposite of the actual trend of labels working on quantity rather than on quality. After two successful maxis, from Oskar Offermann and Moomin, then from Christopher Rau, Tristen chosed the brilliant Oliver Deutschmann, owner of label Vidab for this third opus. He delivers us two great tracks such as the massive Gimme Some Love, with a very special kind of seducing/destructing groove able to blow up every single dancefloor. The second art piece is called Celebrate Misery (which sound colours reminded us a lot of Dginia), escorted by a remix from XDB and a drum-less edit of Celebrate Misery. We cannot wait to discover the rest of the story…
